How did you create your uneek + di files?
I don't mean the nand, but the kernel.bin and di.bin.

I don't really recall. At first it didn't really work so I had to use some files (that were 'compiled' as 0kb) from another sure. The source was either the complete softmod guide, modmii and/or sneekycompiler. None of which used a source to build/get anything below r150, so I figured that was the one I have.

Is there any way to check my version?

For what it's worth, these are my file sizes:
SD:\SNEEK\kernel.bin (168.920 bytes) (there's a rev.txt file containing "UNEEK+DI rev150
" as well in that folder).
USB:\SNEEK\di.bin (33.128 bytes)
USB:\SNEEK\kernel.bin (168.920 bytes)

Speaking of which...if I want to update to that latest rev (153, IIRC?)...which files on my SD and/or USB do I have to replace?

really no way to check version but you have the version.txt so it is probably the modmii version of s/uneek
you would have to replace all the files you have listed with new ones

Just did that. I'm afraid your sneekycompiler still doesn't like me, scooby. When trying to compile v153 sneekinstaller complains about not finding \sneekfiles\esmo (?). v152 seems to compile and ends up with the needed files...except the 3 I mentioned in my last post.

Modmii quickly grabbed/created me the files for rev150...but judging by the sizes, I think they're identical.

Anyway...Installed these over the old ones. Uneek refused to work at first, so had to remove those 2 config files in USB:\sneek as well. After that, it worked fine. Even with microphone. So the end result is what I want it to be...but I don't think I can really tell just how I did it.

I am at a loss with this and about to yank out my hair...

4. Find a command prompt

4a. Go to start --> Run --> Type: cmd and hit enter, this will bring up a command prompt it should read:

c:\user\nameofurcpu> NOTE: If it has a different letter there, just type in c: and hit enter

5. Type this in the command prompt

cd c:\

5a. Hit enter, your command prompt should read:

c:\>

6. Downloading SNEEK source

6a. Type in the command prompt or copy and paste this in the window:

CODE
svn checkout http://sneek.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ sneek
I get everything up and running cmd prompt but when it comes to entering in the svn checkout http://sneek.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ sneek in cmd it says it doesn't exist.
Now what?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the double post.
Now I'm stuck with this
2. Make a "New Folder" on your desktop.

3. Click on SNEEKInstaller, and when it opens,

4. Click the first "Browse" button and direct it to the "New Folder" you created.

5. Click the "Get Files" next to that "Browse" button on the left.

When I click Get files for the Sneek Files It says downloading dimodule.elf.... and then I get connect fail 10060

The IOS files seem to download fine but the sneek files do not.

Sorry for all the questions.
I use Modmii to do everything for Uneek I put what (I think) should be put where on SD card and HD.
Boot up my wii select Switch 2 Uneek. Select Nand 1 from inside the Nands folder and it says something about Uneek files found Cannot create subfolder. I try the same with Nand 2 from inside the Nands folder, and I get the same results.

do u have nand subfolders already on the root of the hard drive? If u use ModMii to build uneek right onto the hard drive (not to copy_to_usb), it will move any existing subfolders onto the root to USB:\nands\nand#\ and u won't have this problem. But if u are copying files from copy_to_usb to your USB, you will have to move any existing nand subfolders from the root to USB:\nands\WhateverName\

Ok. Got it to say making subfolders. But, now it just sits there saying Moved SubFolder(s) of NAND from usb:/nands/NAND1 to usb:/.
I know it takes awhile to load the first time but I have been sitting here for 20 minutes. Does it take longer?
And of course. Thanks for the help Xflax. You are a god among us insects.

just to let everyone know if you go download the source of ShowMiiWads the latest one on there will make a .wad for hbc 1.07 and 1.08
not that you need 8 except for a backup in-case of accidental update (as long as you have a forwarder channel in
just a tid bit of knowledge i thought someone might like to know

Hey guys, nice app you have here.

But iv'e got one problem. Does anybody have any ideas?

I got the HBC installed on my emulated NAND, but it wasnt working. I realised it was HBC1.08, so I installed 1.07 on my real NAND (so I could dump the wad), and now none of my apps are showing up in the HBC.

It says its 1.07 and its using IOS61.

Homebrew Filter is the option included in ModMii. Did u give it a try?

Homebrew Filter is an alternative to the Homebrew Channel. It looks similar, but has more functions like for example choosing the ios that's loaded when you start a specific app - and it works in sneek / uneek

Did you replace the .tik file from REAL nand dump into your EMU nand as per the guide?

Quote from "Installing HBC 1.0.7"

8. Then manually copy and replace your original Bootmii NAND/ticket/00010001/af1bf516.tik to Sneek NAND/ticket/00010001/af1bf516.tik
