And it couldn't run on USB:/apps/switch2uneek?

From the Readme

Requirements:

a. "armboot.bin" from UNEEK compilation
3. SD card has "sneek" directory or folder with the following file inside:
a. "kernel.bin" from UNEEK compilation
4. SD card has apps directory or folder, and inside that folder:
a. switch2uneek folder with the following files:
i. boot.dol
ii. icon.png
iii. meta.xml
5. USB drive has "sneek" directory or folder with the following file inside:
a. "kernel.bin" from UNEEK compilation
b. "di.bin" from UNEEK compilation
c. "font.bin"
d. "diconfig.bin"
6. USB drive has two files in the main directory or folder:

How can I boot UNEEK without placing files on sd for bootmii? Is there any app that can boot it from USB only?
It can't be done.

Switch2Uneek just renames files/folders so that you can boot into s/uneek conveniently. It doesn't actually launch sneek, after renaming files, it just launches bootmii @ IOS, which then checks the sd card for SD:\bootmii\armboot.bin, if this is not found, then it will return you to the real nand instead of loading sneek.

I really like switch2uneek though, but it doesn't do what you're asking about.

OK i got Uneek+DI working.

here the problem im facing.

in USB i have 3 games. I added 1 new game.

Load SNEEK and when i press 1. I still have 3 games listed and the new game i added is not in the list.

try reading the settings page

which settings page?

Also. I have HBC 1.0.8.

I want to follow this How to install HBC 1.0.7 to SNEEK NAND- But how do i get a hold of HBC 1.0.7 version?

many thanks

Google search for "HackMii Installer v0.7" and in 30 seconds I found it at the 2nd link..

I would get it for you, but we can't have that here at GBAtemp at the request of the devs who made it, srry.

Why, whats the issue with 0.7? Is there a difference with 0.7 and 0.7b, if so what is/are it/they?

The only change is a small bugfix in the installer itself, and only very few people ran into this. If you could successfully install either The Homebrew Channel or BootMii, there is no need to reinstall again, both are unchanged compared to v0.7

Okey Dokey, thanks for clearing that up

Good thing I kept a copy of my old NAND prior from V1.0.8

And the NAND is 4.2U

with 4.2U I can have my Wiiware channels.
Thanks to those who helped me

BUT I have this issue when loading HBC.

Step by Step.
a) Start HBC
b) After 30secs I get the disclaimer screen
c) It takes about 2 to 3 mins to appear "PRESS ( 1)"
d) After i press (1) Im in HBC.

I have 2 questions:

1) How do I bypass the disclaimer screen ?

2) I just get a black screen when I start MMM?

Have you replace the ticket as per the guide?

OK. I looked back on page 1 and read the ModMii steps again.

EDIT: never mind I found it.. I knew I read something about this before.. Thank you and I will make that change.

I added a new game.

Press 1 and selected the new game.
Now my pointer disappears and waited 5mins and still nothing.

Search this thread found no solution to one of the old post.

Can anyone help me?

EDIT: I used WIT and I have the IOS for the game

Delete your diconfig.bin and channelcache.bin from usb:\sneek. Boot into uneek and try to load another game, if it works then return to the system menu and try to load the new game. If after loading the new game your pointer disappears (or after booting your Uneek) again then new game is at fault.

I gave up on 4.2U and went back to my 4.3U NAND Dump from Bootmii.

I copied all the folders from nand-extracteda to USB
Used ShowMiiWads to remove the HBC 1.0.8
Extract HBC 1.0.7 to NAND

Boot the Wii -> Boot to UNEEK+DI -> 4.3U Loads OK

Here is the similar issue I have when I click on HBC from Wii Menu.

I still get the HackMii Disclaimer screen.

Yes if I press 1 it will take me to HBC 1.0.7

What do I need to edit now since I used my own NAND Dump to by pass the screen?

@Burton => With 4.3U I have no problem loading the game to disc channel and when i press START the games loads fine. That's why I went back to 4.3U my own NAND Dump

Did you manually copy af1bf516.tik into the ticket/0010001 folder in your usb?

I still need to manually copy af1bf516.tik even though it's the same NAND ?

Yes! look at step 8 of How to install HBC 1.0.7 to SNEEK NAND in the first post:

" 8. Then manually copy and replace your original Bootmii NAND/ticket/00010001/af1bf516.tik to Sneek NAND/ticket/00010001/af1bf516.tik "
