Well finally got Di working, with game selection.
yaywii.gif
ended up just hard coding the region free hack into the system menu app before any of my games would work from the game selection, but everything seems to be working fine.

Are you using a 4.2U dump? If so can you post what you changed. TY
No i completely converted my Wii to Pal prior to dumping the nand, and instead of using the fsdumper i used Bootmii to backup the Nand, and showmiiwads to extract it, I'm sure you can easily convert a nand dump to Pal with just showmiiwads though you might get a opera brick without changing the setting.txt also.

I got that error when I go to settings. I changed in setting.txt area=usa to eur but I still have this error. Is anything else that has to be changed in setting.txt?

just press Start on the Gc controller, I did seem to have your problem if i went into the game menu while inside the disc channel. but i dont get that error if i only enter it while inside the system menu and not the disc channel itself

Just download system setting replace tool mod, it contains a copy of a Pal setting.txt just switch it out with the one on your extracted nand Dump. That should work fine.

So just copy my setting.txt in same dir as boot.dol and run it? Thanks, man.

No you dont need the program in the download just the pal setting.txt contained in the download, I switched it out with the one on my extracted nand to solve the opera error though changing your console area setting to Eur should have also fixed the problem. if you do end up just switching the setting.txt, you'll need a region free hack installed or your ntsc games wont show up in the disc channel

Your PAL setting.txt does not appear to be valid:
Code:
AREA=EUR...MODEL=RVL-001(EUR)...DVD=0...MPCH=0x7FFE...CODE=LE

It's only 61 bytes and I believe it should be 256 bytes.

Also your NTSC setting.txt contains your Wii's serial number.

You don't need a region free hack if you put a proper region.bin in /usb/sneek

Hi,

That is where I am right now, I can select them I can exit menue but they do not show up in DC. How do I install this now? The only way I know is to use preloader\priiloader but not sure on how to install it on a dump. Thanks again.

Not sure i didn't use priloader or startpatch I used a Hex editior and manually applied the region free patch. Though it should be easily enough to install priloader but i can't help you there

I had it on root of the sd card with a ntsc region.bin created, but i'm sure i did something wrong. sense i didn't seem to get it working, but it doesn't matter the region free hack works good enough for me. but thanks for the tip sounds like that would solve bula's problem

Nevermind, this appears to be an issue with the decrypter.

i keep getting "An error has occurred.Press the Eject Button and remove the disc then turn the wii console off and refer to the Wii Operaations Manual for help troubleshooting"
Any help would be appreciated.
This happens every time i boot
4.1e

hmmm, so I shouldn't be sharing that if it's not working properly ?

I had my region.bin on usb:\. I moved it to usb:\sneek and works now. Thanks.

The warnings are irrelevant. You do however have an error as well, which is why part of the build fails. Can you make out what the problem is? That does not however correlate to your uneek not working since you probably use the precompiled armboot.bin anyway.

From the Warning Message, I thing it just because of the code itself, but not the path including...

But it seems they are not the critical error, the bin files can still been generate, but it dosen't work too, why ?

And my files arranged as below:

sd:\bootmii\ppcboot.bin
sd:\bootmii\armboot.bin
sd:\bootmii\bootmii.ini
sd:\boot2.bin (boot2_usb.bin)
sd:\font.bin
sd:\region.bin (US)

usb:\boot2.bin (boot2_usb.bin)
NAND
usb:\import
usb:\meta
usb:\shared1
usb:\shared2
usb:\temp
usb:\title

Do I anything wrong??

BTW, nice to meet u here, wiiwaker ! (^o^)

Easy to test. Just run python in a command prompt and see if you get the python shell or not.
