It also sound like you're having a love/hate relationship about what @DinohScene does with his 3ds.
If nobody cares about his 3ds, why would you be the only one to bring it up?
"I don't care about you, but i'm gonna keep you updated and tell other people that I did so."

People are missing the point. A9LH boots almost instantaneously after pressing the power button and then it loads CFW and THEN the system with all the patches. Unless there is a bug in the CFW, updating for A9LH users should be fine.

Not once what that quote was written in this tread. If he wants to say he updated his 3ds, he can (even though he did).
If no one cares (like you mentioned) why would you bring it up? YOU obviously seem to care so much that @DinohScene updated his 3ds.

NOBODY cares what he does with his system. I'm just pointing out his contradictory statement.
he doesn't care about his 3ds but he's in a 3ds forum talking about how he updated his 3ds.
sounds like he has a love/hate relationship with his 3ds. lol

Shiet, you got some really sensitive toes do you?

Why don't you just stop pretending to be cool and just admit you love the 3ds? I know i do. :)

I'm more like "I care about you so much that I won't update you and keep you on 11.2 for ever."

Oh yeh, I love the 3DS soooooo much that you barely see me post in the Nintendo sections here ;')

I personally love my Vita more than my 3DS. It seems to me that the 3DS is almost down to it's final breaths. Freeshop hasn't had updates and games added to it for weeks now. My 3DS is currently collecting dust while my Vita is receiving all the love. Odin Sphere for Vita blows any 3DS game out the water.

You do realize he has no idea when a new update is gonna drop. It's just a reminder since it's been a while. Nothing has changed...

So I got a notification from Twitter, and Smea informs us not to update as if Nintendo releases a new update tonight. So for those of you on 11.3 with a CFW, I guess wait until it's safe to update, since Nintendo might have found a way to patch a9lh with Luma3ds.
For people who is also is on 11.3, but on stock and using an game or app exploit to homebrew, I recommend staying on 11.3 for a while just until a new exploit comes out to put a CFW on 11.3 firm.

If you updated to 11.3 in the first place, it's either because you don't want CFW, or because you're retarded. If you updated and are now complaining that you can't install CFW, you don't even deserve it, and you'd probably brick your 3DS while tring to install it.

@OfficialBrony wrong information.
they could make the OS require an updated FIRM0 and FIRM1 but they won't do it, since the 3ds'ses wouldn't boot anymore since the arm9loaderhax haxx payload is located on top of FIRM0 and Luma3DS prevents it from being overwritten by an Update.
So they would just semibrick thousands of 3ds Units.

Thats the explanation why arm9loaderhax won't ever be patched.

There is generally a myriad of different reasons why people find themselves with fully updated consoles. The biggest reasons I read on the temp are usually "lent to a friend/gave it to my child and they updated." And then there are the newbies who weren't even aware that downloading games for free on the 3DS was even a thing and want to get in on the action.

Special mention to the people who tried to stay on lower firmware, but succumb to the desire to play the latest games and use online services when they understood the risks involved. Those people certainly deserve to remain purchasing their software legitimately.

If there is a new update tonight, I just stick around on this site to see if it's safe to update. Wait a few days to see how much 3ds's are bricked and then make a decision to update or not.

To bad about the hacking firmware topic to see the same questions pop up like a 1000 times because people don't check the stickies or are to stupid to use the search function.

Hello? it was too late for me to read what smea said, i just updated and the 3ds wont boot again, but i can still access the luma cfw.
What should i do? Thank you!

If the 3DS is almost on its final breaths, then the Vita has been rotting in the afterlife for a year or two at this point. I like the Vita too, but the 3DS has way more games that I regularly go back to.
