[14:05:22] actually, this is my pal version. turns out the same exact stage works to crash both version of the game
[14:10:58] LOL. it looks like both my pal versions of the exploit work on the KOR version of the game. i made 1 version that works if there is no save file present on the wii and one version that does
[14:11:12] if there is a save file^

Nices. A friend of mine asked about hacking his 4.3 Wii and while ago but didn't have a copy of Indiana Jones. If this game finally gets a PAL exploit I could do it for him (and possibly take payment hehehehehe)

does this mean i didnt have to buy yugioh 5ds

WHAT! Not allowed!

Pune you are the best! Awesome job!

But to all you guys, Does this mean we will be able to hack a PAL Wii with smashstack in the future?
Or does this only apply to the Korean discs? ( PAL Discs are fixed )

I suppose this new exploit can be used on either SSBB-PAL or SSBB-KOR.

Let's see what happen !! (So far giantpune hasn't said anything here)

What do you mean with 'PAL discs are fixed', Hielkenator? From what I remember last time this topic was discussed, it was that the code is different enough between regions to not have the NTSC-exploit work for PAL/Korean/Japanese discs, but that the exploit itself "should still be there".

And the IRC quotes from Giantpune himself seem pretty conclusive. But still, I'll wait to see what his own comments on this is as well before getting TOO cheerful.

(though I am happy with this news

).

I thought the Level editor BUG, was fixed in the PAL release of SSBB before Nintendo released the game.
But I could be wrong....

Here is a PM that giantpune sent me when I asked him regarding that question. I believe him. I can't wait for the public release. I have been waiting for this for the longest time and glad to see it almost here. Go giantpune!

Sorry to bother you again but is it also true that the exploit of Smash stack does not exist on the PAL game?

Pune
QUOTEthat is 100% not true. whoever said that is either lying or stupid.
