If I burn a disc at a lower speed of say 4x or 2x will the disc only then read at that speed in the wii?

Burning speed has nothing to do with the reading speed

all backups read at 3x without a chip, 6x with one. Like he said burning speed doesn't really affect read speed excepting in the case of crappy burns.

Ah, [IMG] nice. Now only one problem why is the softmod running at 3x compared to a chip running them at 6x?

It works fine with 3x speed, so 6x wouldn't make much of a difference
