Homebrew Slowdowns in gb roms (gameyob)

I have some slowdowns in GB games using gameyob (see video, look for FPS )
All DS games are running in full speed but I have slowdowns in almost all gb roms
I’m using a gateway blue card (r4 clone)

anyone knows why?

Not sure. Maybe you have set some special settings in it? There's no reason it shouldn't run full speed or maybe you have a reaaally slow sd card?

Yes, even with no border at all I have slowdowns

And you're on a normal DS so no DSi enhancements? Twilightmenu or just stock kernel?

No twilightmenu, just running gameyob.nds from my flashcart

Oh i just tried every settings one by one and autosaving was causing the lag...
I have disabled it and now it runs well Thanks
