Yeah, I get it....well, let's make it clear..I didn't want to complicate it, but I guess there is no other way..

My favorite GBA cart is EZ Flash II PowerStar.....I don't think you can find it anywhere at this point, because it wasn't produced that massively, and it's been a long time since production has been ended..
This is the flashcart that doesn't have any of the "extra features" I have one with 512 Mb (not MB) capacity...SO you can actually fit only few games..

I love this cart, and it's my favorite, but it is a completely subjective opinion, because this cart is inferior to M3 Perfect in almost every aspect!

My second cart of choice is M3 Perfect because I'm using it, and it's really great to have all GBA games on one place, that are worth playing....and having them all with me, at any time..
It offers extra features as Real Time Clock, Real Time Save, Cheats...etc.
I can't actually help you more than say that I'm really enjoying it..I have no problems whatsoever with it, and it works like a charm..

If you have any specific questions, I can answer you, but in the end it's your call..
Overall (not considering price), I believe that M3 Perfect is the most complete cart of them all, if someone thinks different, I'd like them to post here with some facts..not just saying M3 Perfect is shit, because it's not!

On Djoen's request:

It is not ripped from the context.

I do not want to make quarrel with DjoeN, so I think you have that right here..DjoeN posts if he still wants to discuss about this topic.

Ontopic:

I understand your point and think a search for the EZ-FLASH II PowerStrar would be useless..

If nothing changes (like DjoeN posts here with some argue) I will order an M3 Lite Perfect, so..if you want to tell me why the M3 Lite Perfect is shit, please post here, DjoeN

I have no idea why would DjoeN say something like that, as we actually never had a conflict of anything of the sorts?!

With my previous post, I just wanted to point out how taste is matter of personal preference!
I prefer EZ FLash II PowerStar (although it's clearly inferior cart to M3 Perfect, and I own both)..
I prefer M3 Real over CycloDS (although it's clearly that CycloDS is much "bettert", and I own and use both)..

I'm suggesting you M3 Perfect because it's been said that it's the best GBA solution one could find (and I clearly agree with that), and I pointed out some facts......Many, many members here use M3 Perfect, and are very very satisfied with it!
However, if DjoeN is so clearly against it, I would like him to make some facts, post here, not just say "M3 Perfect sucks, Toni can kiss my ass" and that's it..

I'm always open for discussion/debate......

And everything you asked here, was for other members opinions......My opinion is that M3 Perfect IS worth the money it costs and IS the best GBA solution by all means!

I would also like to see DjoeN posts here with some argue..

(About the M3 DS Real, it is because it's advanced?)

Edit: What you are saying: "I prefer the EZ-FLASH II PowerStar above the M3 Lite Perfect, although the M3 Lite Perfect is much better." ?

http://www.ndss.nl/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7572

Edit2:

DjoeN asked me to delete the logs, I will get started with deleting soon

The logs are not helping me to choose the best flashcard after all, so..no problem.

Maybe DjoeN will tell me which slot-2 card he prefers if I delete the logs

Because it was my first flashcart, and I got used to it....I don't use cheats for games at all and rarely use RTS, so I really don't use much of "extra" features that M3 Perfect offers..
The thing with EZ Flash II PowerStar is that it uses 1.8V chip instead of 3.3V, so that means that it uses half of power when you're playing....That way it expands the lifetime of the battery (and I really get few more hours of playing)..

M3 Perfect is great because it holds all games I ever want to play! On my EZ Flash II, now I have only one game (Mother 3)..I'm using it as an "official" cart, because this way I have no loading time..

QUOTE(NavadeHo @ Nov 3 2008, 02:05 AM) G6 Lite VS. M3 Lite?
M3 Lite, without a doubt.....It's much more easier to handle microSD, than internal storage..

As I said.....my opinion (and most of members here, share the same) is that M3 Perfect is the best GBA solution..

If you want to look a bit into it, X-ROM 512 Mb is also a great cart
EZ Flash II, III or IV Deluxe

Something along these lines..

But M3 Perfect beats them all if you look at the functionality, quality and compatibility!

Loads the M3 Lite Perfect ROMs directly of the microSD card or is it the most fast slot-2 card?

Edit: So..there are three versions of the EZ-FLASH IV..Lite, Deluxe and Lite Compact?
What is the different between those and your second choice was Deluxe?

(Link to all?)

Edit: And I can just use the M3 Lite Perfect in a GBA/SP/Micro with the GBA-sized case?

Edit2: I have placed an order (M3 Lite Perfect+Superkey), if you think i'm crazy: POST! (I will probably order an EZ-FLASH IV Deluxe as well)

Edit3: What was the best EZ-FLASH IV? Lite Deluxe, Deluxe GBA, Lite Compact, Regular..???

Edit4: I have ordered the EZ-FLASH IV Deluxe (GBA-sized) too
tongue.gif
(I could'nt choose, DjoeN..)

Edit5: The two best slot-2 cards?

On M3 Perfect, games take few seconds to load, it depends on the size of the game, it doesn't take long..

Well, EZ FLash IV actually has two versions Compact & Deluxe, (Compact Lite is same as Compact, but in smaller size, so it fits flush in NDS Lite)
Deluxe is a full functionality flashcart that has great GBA compatibility, while Compact is more NDS-oriented flashcart, and it lacks GBA compatibility (you really don 't want Compact version for GBA gaming!)..
And yeah, EZ FLash IV is a great choice, and probably the best one after the M3 Perfect..

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THIS REVIEW!!> http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=37042

I'm using my M3 Perfect only for GBA gaming, and it is in my Micro right now!! so yes, you can use it in GBA/SP/Micro!

You won't go wrong with M3 Perfect, but why did you ordered Superkey?! You could have better ordered one of the slot 1 flashcarts!! You would get more functionality!!

The best EZ Flash IV is Deluxe!!

Well, you won't go wrong with EZ Flash IV either!!

These two carts are probably the best you can find!

Looks like shop.01media.com still has a few 1Gb EZ-Flash II left if you wanted to pick up one. Might be a great option if your in eroupe. I never bought from them so I can't tell you about the service.

It is kinda pricey like the M3, so you got trade off, etc.

They messed something up, it's 256 Mb version, not 1 Gb!

And it's too expensive! and it's OUT OF STOCK!

About the Superkey: It cost only 18 dollarcents..I couldn't let it lay there

(I have some slot-1 flashcards already

)

Edit: Compact and Compact Lite: both shitty GBA compat?

Edit2: Well, I think I got all the features with the M3 Lite Perfect and EZ-FLASH IV Deluxe (GBA-sized), so I don't need the PowerStar II anymore..and I think (I searched all over the place) I could never find it anymore.

Edit3: Has the Lite Deluxe also shitty GBA compat?

Edit4: I think the only EZF4 that is being sold these days is the EZF4 Deluxe (GBA-sized), right?

Compact and compact Lite are exactly the same, only difference is in the size!! And both have bad GBA compatibility..

Deluxe has great GBA compatibility (whether it's GBA sized or Lite, it's the same cart!)

Well, I haven't searched around for it actually (because I don't need it), But I think that DealExtreme holds only GBA sized Deluxe version!

There are 4 EZF4's, right?
  • EZ-FLASH IV Deluxe (GBA-sized)
  • EZ-FLASH IV Deluxe (Lite-sized)
  • EZ-FLASH IV Lite
  • EZ-FLASH IV IV Compact Lite
And..can you give pics of them all..?

Plus, which can be still found?

Edit: Supercard slot-2 cards are crap?

http://www.gameboy-advance.net/ds-lite/ezf...ite-microsd.htm
This is site with little more detailed description of Lite EZ Flashes!

I'm kinda lazy to go searching for all the pictures, just google it and view pictures!
They basically look the same..

I'm not sure which ones are available, but I'm guessing all.....Lite versions are a bit harder to find, but I believe there are still sites that sell them..
I only know of DealExtreme!

I wouldn't say that slot-2 SuperCards are crap, but they are inferior to EZ Flash and M3!

What is better: EZ-FLASH IV Lite Deluxe or GBA Deluxe?
Man, I already told you...those are SAME carts....Lite is smaller so it can fit flush in NDS Lite, but functionality is same as GBA sized Deluxe!!
