Gaming Slot-1 Cards Update

OK then, when will we get the updated Slot-1 comparision chart?? I wanted to buy a R4 at PSXBOX.net but they don't sell it at this moment. They sold it very cheap compared to other shops. Now i am comparising other slot-1 cards. So wih the latest updates which one?

I mean if a card has a firmware update that makes the card better wouldn't it better to give it a higher rating?

The comparator states the support level for any given card and whether the card is able to be updated or not. To update the comparator every time a company updates their OS/firmware would be time-consuming and unnecessary. Since the frequency of updates was listed in the comparator, no further updating of the comparator is necessary other than to add any other cards that come down the pipe.

Depends if the update is to add new features such as in-game resets or new skinning
features, that’s a nice update. But if one card requires new updates for every game that
comes out to get them to work while an other releases an update once a year just for
added features & all games work the card with the lesser updates would be the one to get.
