When I use my Supercard and close the DS to put it in sleep mode some times it works fine and sometimes the DS shuts off. I usually am using it in a DSiXL. I tried digging around to see if there was some sort of setting that controls this behaviour. It is sort of annoying because one of the best things about portable gaming is being able to stop and start whenever you need without having to rely on saves.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

It is the way flashcarts are made and how they read and write data to and from the microSD, that sleep mode will not work. The results you are getting in trying to get sleep mode to work is normal. It is advised that you don't bother with sleep mode unless you got a real game in that DS/i/LL.

Thanks for the reply. I thought they advertised that sleep mode worked....it does sometimes.

Anyway, good to know it is normal.
