I think I've got a similar problem to the rest where the screen goes black and freezes when trying to load the game.
I am using cfgv70 249 [56] d2x v6. The wii version is 4.1E
With this I was able to turn on the block iso reload, therefore i didn't have to resort to the alternate/player.dol.
I've already watch the wm+ video as I played wii sport resort a while ago but just to make sure i played around with the altenate.dol to get the video.
I didn't get a video but there were the general help options you get after watching the video, I chose 'return to game' which caused the black screen to appear.
I've also used cfgv70 250 [57] d2x v6, usb loader gx 2.3 and neogamma's usb loader R9 b53, d2x v6 (249)
To make sure everything is up to date I ran modmii, it was successful.
After reading through countless posts I came to the conclusion that maybe the iso is somewhat corrupted. I can't test the iso by burning it through imgburn because I get an I/O error,
which I'm guessing it means imgburn can't locate the driver. Realising that I couldn't rely on burning as a testing method I dowloaded several copies of the iso (both pal and ntsc versions) but they
all resulted in the same outcome, the black screen of death.
Please help me I've nearly ran out of hair to pull!
