Gaming Skyward sword and nunchuck problem

I have a modded wii. When i try to play skyward sword, the screen just tells me to connect the nunchuck to the wii mote. The thing is, the nunchuck works find when i play other games like twilight princess but for some reason skyward sword don't recognize the nunchuck being connected. Any problem similar to this? Need your help! tnx!

Are you using a wiimote plus (motionplus built-in), or an older wiimote with the plus attachment?

Does the nunchuck work with any other motion plus games (like Wii Resort)?

an older wiimote...and yes the nunchuck worked well when i played twighlight princess

i dont have... maybe that's the problem.

That's probably it. If I'm not mistaken the game uses the WM+ gyroscopes instead of the IR for the pointer. That would explain why the buttons work but not the cursor.

Did you use an old Wiimote with Wii Motion plus adapter (external) if that so, the adapter maybe wasn't "locked" or something

Skyward Sword needs a Wiimote Plus or a WM+ module to be played.
