I have a modded wii. When i try to play skyward sword, the screen just tells me to connect the nunchuck to the wii mote. The thing is, the nunchuck works find when i play other games like twilight princess but for some reason skyward sword don't recognize the nunchuck being connected. Any problem similar to this? Need your help! tnx! :)

Are you using a wiimote plus (motionplus built-in), or an older wiimote with the plus attachment?

Does the nunchuck work with any other motion plus games (like Wii Resort)?

Do you have the WM+ module attached, too? Skyward Sword requires it.

That's probably it. If I'm not mistaken the game uses the WM+ gyroscopes instead of the IR for the pointer. That would explain why the buttons work but not the cursor. :)

Did you use an old Wiimote with Wii Motion plus adapter (external) if that so, the adapter maybe wasn't "locked" or something

Skyward Sword needs a Wiimote Plus or a WM+ module to be played.
