Hi I've ported the famous Sky3DS Diskwriter to Mac OS X and Linux.
You can find it on my website and, if you want, link it to your Downloads section.

The software is in English and in French

This software isn't based on the official Sky3DS software. But if I tell about features, it looks like the 1.x versions of Sky3DS.
About the OS X edition, for now, the current release doesn't work under 10.11 El Captain. That's because the new Rootless feature of that operating system breaks the template import...

Hi, sorry for the long time,
I haven't a computer with OSX El Captain, and my Macintosh is an Hackintosh with OSX Mavericks, otherwise, it's a little hot to upgrade...
A lot of things has changed since (rootless) i know...
There is a good news for hackers, my software is licensed under GNU GPL (free, libre and open source) and is written in python language.
If you can, and have some python skills, you can fork my software, I'm not a crocodile!

I see and the source is the diskwriter v1 clone for this reason I can't install games on my memory because I used diskwriter v2

just tried it, the app shuts down after choosing a template, is this an el capitan issue? hope this gets an update.

Mh I see that you basically just took the code that I (and NoSmokingBandit - thanks for the GUI) have written, and put it into a nice package (+translations).

I have to say that I don't have anything against this (and it's allowed by the license i used), but your post made it look like you'd have written the software, and I'm a bit uncomfortable with that.

It's the root password of your computer

Any solution to the template.txt problem? Running Linux, it just crashes right after opening the template, tried on root folder and on desktop.

so for anyone not able to load template open finder, go to applications and then go to app support (command,Shift,G) now create a folder called Sky3DS and put the template into it renting it just template.txt.


i get an issue at the stage when writing a disk it says no .json file, what do i do here please?
