Hello i bought a sky3ds orange button :D
i have two question about private headers, i have downloaded the lastest template..
Sky3DS+ firmware V112 [02/22/2016], but i wont using DiskWriter to put the game on my sd cart.
do i need to delite each save game and modified the setting.txt file?

setting.txt file have :

FIRMWARE_VERSION=112
DEFAULT_GAMESAVE_KEY= (i need to put my private headers here..)
HIGH_SPEED_ENABLED=1
ACTIVITY_LED_COLOR=000000
EEPROM_LED_COLOR=FF0000
SD_LED_COLOR=0000FF

after that i press save and i can try my game online? or i need to patch the template file with a programs?

the other question was.. a friend on me have donkey kong 3d cartridge but the game wont play in online mode..

do i can use this header for my sky3ds to playing online mode?
my friend cant playing online with this one .. but did i can use his header for my sky3ds without risk of ban .. or is better to buy a new one?

thank you for any tips and good night ^^

Hi, i believe you dont need a template anymore because it is only used for Sky3DS Blue button.

as for your other question about your friend's donkey kong 3d,
refer to this link: https://gbatemp.net/threads/why-sky3ds-gets-002-0123-even-with-a-private-header.385672/

EDIT: about your first question, yes you need to delete .sav files in your mSD if Sky3ds+ already generated that.
EDIT2: oh, only those save files that you want to go online.

You can back up your saves with svdt before adding your private header, then restore them afterwards.
You shouldn't both use the same private header, if you both try to go online at the same time you might get errors/a ban.

i mean no harsh but, dude.. whats the point of having private headers in sky3ds+ if you are just going to play it offline?
If you really want to play online using sky3ds+, start asking your friend about dumping that cartridge's private header.
