I recently bought a SKY 3ds with a kingston micro sd. All the games worked fine ecept DKR which I had to inststall using the first diskwriter and template. It now works fine. So it could be your micro sd card

i have seen the same issue in other forums, some guys also said it was the SD card issues, take a change and try again!

Also, you should try putting a piece of tape or two on the low front side of the cart. Many flash carts have slightly thinner shells than normal carts and cause contact issues.

Well, I got a Kingston class 10 16gb and works perfectly; no black screens. The issue now is I skipped the games and I got to KH 3D, the light on the flashcard just keeps flashing and can't do anything. I removed the Sky3DS, and put again but nothing happened. What should I do?

Better contact the manufacturers, since this seems to be a hardware-related problem.
Btw : My new Transcend SD is gonna be arriving on monday, it is a Class 10 one with over 20mb/s. This should be enough.

Everything is working perfectly: my flashcard contains 8 games which are New Super Mario Bros. 2, Kirby Triple Deluxe, DK Country 3D, Luigi's Mansion, Project X Zone, Yoshi's New Island, Rayman Origins and Kingdom Hearts 3D. Every game has no issues (no eeprom all of them), but I've inserted One Piece Romance Dawn (USA version, of course). The problem now is that, passed a few seconds, the card skip it automatically. If I press the button while is selected, the white box "This card could not be read" appears.
How can I fix this? I tried with different roms but the same happens.

EDIT: Now it says "The game card has been removed".

It sounds like a red button version issue. Try holding the button down for about 5 seconds before the light comes on. That might stop it from scrolling past.

Well, I don't know why or how, but after I pressed the button for a few seconds and after that pressed the A button it worked, but it's still very annoying to do every time. Also after I do that, the light keeps flashing and it won't change the game unless I re-insert the Sky3DS.

EDIT: Now I put another game after One Piece and both of them automatically skips after 2 or 3 seconds.

Hi RoDryBones,

Any lucky solving this issue? I'm having the same problem... I had 10 games working perfectly, and after that removed 2 of them to put the new Legend of Zelda. After writing the new games, I'm having the same problem: it skips automatically through these 2 games, only allowing to play if I hold the red button for 5 seconds after displaying the game. I tried reformatting the SD card and putting only Legend of Zelda, same issue. I even tried replacing the SD card, no success.
