Too late formatted now
Trying to reformat the card from scratch... seems I may have broken my brand new sd card. Can't unformat it

Use Partition Master. It can fix any SD card.

Disk writer. Do I put that on my SD card then load it up from SD?

Using epm now it's slow but I'm sure it's doing something... (it's stuck atm but guessing it's working)

You need to boot up Disk Writer first, then connect your SD card after that. No need to put Disk Writer on your SD card.

What happens in the task manager? Does the process start and then close right after? This sounds like an issue with your PC than the SD card.

Try setting up a virtual box with Windows 7 on it and try it there. This seems to be your last option. It's not to complicated if you watch a few youtube tutorials.

There are two seperate partitions that should be on your SD. One say unallocatted and the other is an unnamed. Delete the unnamed partition. Then create a new partition as FAT32 and make it Primary. Then Apply the changes so then the changes will be saved.

If you are using v1.07, then you are using a fake Disk Writer.

Not one with SD slot.
2hrs of my life wasted and getting angry just so i can try adding a jpn game... fml.
No the error is I chose a game to write and nothing happens, still blank...

Sounds like a dead sd card to me. I had one of those not that long ago myself. And you're right, it is frustrating trying to revive it. In my case, nothing worked. I could see and access everything I wanted to on the card, but I could not add or delete files or format it. It's strange because Windows wouldn't pop out an error, it would allow me to add or remove files but when I eject the card and re-mount it, everything was as it was before altering it. First time experiencing this. It was a real Sandisk Ultra 64gb purchased on Amazon in case you're wondering.

Just to confirm when I am formatting I have it as fat32? or which file system?
