Hacking Sky3ds Disk writer help!

Getting nothing but headache please help!
When the writer tool finally does see my sd card (have to keep launching it in admin mode to even load up) I get card not formatted with no games or just two.

Then when I try to write anymore games it says there is no space! :'(

I don't want to format, and lose my saves.
Any ideas?

Run the DiskWriter in Windows XP SP3 Compatibility Mode with Run as Administrator checked (Right-click -> Preferences -> Compatibility), that works perfectly for me.

Hold up, I'm on 8.1 and it works perfectly fine. Have you tried rebooting your PC/redownloading disk writer? I know it sounds rediculous but rebooting as worked for me in the past with these issues.

Restarted and redownloaded.
I think it's it's a .net framework error. I'm soo lost!

You'll have to re-download .Net Framework, try via Windows Update or Microsoft's website.

Can you run diskwriter in something like a virtual box?

Try to put in an usb port on the back of your PC instead of the front usb ports.
Don't use extension cables.

Did you try another SD cart?
Did you try to optimize the sd cart if you get into the diskwriter menu?

I'm on Windows 8.1 and i start diskwriter without a problem, don't use compatibility mode or administrator, works fine

You could always take the time to setup a virtual machine and try there. This does require some effort though. I wouldn't format until you have explored all your options.

I encountered that problem. Try uninstalling and reinstalling .NET v.4.5.2. Then restart the PC afterward. Then run the Disk Writer as Administrator. Remember, insert the Micro SD after you open Disk Writer. Then it should work. Too late formatted now
Trying to reformat the card from scratch... seems I may have broken my brand new sd card. Can't unformat it
