Hacking Sky3DS Card Not Working

Hello all! I recently went through the entire process of installing A9LH on my system (N3DSXL). Thankfully I was on 9.0.0, making the whole ordeal much simpler. Now, one of my friends has decided he wants to do the same. Unfortunately, he's on 10.7.0-32U, making the process for him a bit more extensive and thorough. Anyways, after formatting the SD card inside of the Sky3DS cartridge, I then used write to write Cubic Ninja to it. Now, when I plug this into my hacked N3DS, it work just fine and worderful. But this isn't working for my friend's 3DS, and neither of my roommate's 3DS. (Also, for clarification, my N3DSXL is running 10.7.0 on Luma CFW). Does anyone have an idea on why it may not be working for him? Thanks in advance.

Is the copy of Cubic Ninja the same region as his system?

Also... is this person using a GW? I've found that you need to enter the rom selection menu and exit it again for the Sky game to show up. Dunno why... On an OFW, the only reason should be a different region.

Pretty sure. We were both running 10.7.0-32U. So, we're both running US firmwares. He's just not hacked, purely vanilla, and I've got A9LH. I know it used to work, cuz I used to use it before I had other exploits installed, back on 9.0.0.

No, he's not. His plan is just to follow the Plailect's guide, but he needs to downgrade from 10.7 first, thus the need for NinjaHax.

Makesu re it's a clean dump, no "RF" patching.

My cart (which I traded with Quantumcat) could run RF patched roms just fine on OFW
