Hacking Sky 3ds and downgrading help

My new nintendo 3ds have a sky 3ds cartridge with cubic ninja in it so I use it to access the homebrew launcher. After reading some guides online, I decided to downgrade my system to 9.2 (currently 10.3). My question is do I have to format my SD card and reinstall homebrew with browser hax or can I use the sky 3ds to downgrade? Excuse my bad english.

Like I said, use whatever method you want. Homebrew is homebrew, don't matter what method you use to get into it.

Homebrew is not my main concern but the downgrading process is. I will be using the SD card which is inside the Sky3ds cartridge instead of inside the 3ds sd card slot. Will it not cause problems during and after the downgrading process? Thank you for being replying to me, I am very new to this.

As long as the sd card is in the 3ds, it don't matter.
