Hacking Skinning Question

I've been trying to complete my Skin for my M3DS REAL and all i have left to do is set the font/font color... Now I'm not sure you can change the font itself but I know that you can change the color....How do I do this.... is there a program that can aid me in my skinning process?

Open the default skin directory "skin2" and find skin.ini, open it with your notepad.
You'll see something like:QUOTE[sys_fontColor(RGB)] = 255, 255, 255
[filelist_fontColor(RGB)] = 245, 255, 245
[activeIcon_loop(0 - LOOP , 1 - ONE TIMES)] = 1

Edit the RGB values and save it in your skin's folder.

Disclaimer: haven't done it myself yet 'cause I don't have a DS but I think the word "fontColor" explains it all
