Hacking Skin help

For some apparent reason, whenever i use a skin that i created for my friends and when i put it on the ttds it doesnt work(the menu doesnt even show it just loads and loads with a white screen) can anyone tell me whats wrong wif it

Must be in the good format and size.

Good Format?By that do u mean bitmap image? and the size i just resized it all to the same size as the original picswere

It might be the right size (256 x 192) but what about the colour depth (256,16/24/32-bit etc) ?

I think I've read somewhere that it needs to be 15-bit colour (or was that for the Icons ??) and the TTMenu can be very fussy about it

Have you tried the TTMenu Skin editor to check it out ??
