Set the proxy in one of your browsers and just use that for shady stuff and use your normal browser for gbatemp and junk.

I have a proxy switch extension for Chrome but there don't really seem to be any decent proxies. :/

I honestly haven't pirated anything for the past couple of months, until last night when my bro came over and wanted me to get "something" because his internet wasn't quick enough. I was hesitant because I hadn't done it for a while, and I mentioned to him about this "six strikes" system that will happen, but then I proceeded to tell him that if something happens during the download with my internet, then he's responsible for the consequences.
