Gaming Single Card Play Recommendation Thread

Bomberman, Custom Robo and Starfox Command are pretty good for single play card versus modes to bad Kirby Squeak Squad only had mini games instead of a more Co-op mode.

I wouldn't say it plays like Angry Birds at all.

The idea was just to have games people actually like on this list.

I haven't tried it yet, and that's what the video looked like to me. If you have a better way to describe it then I'll update it.

Never you mind. It wasn't really a comment on you, but on how Angry Birds became the standard for artillery games (which is the proper genre). The Worms series had long been a staple in the genre, more so than other titles. Mind you, I like Angry Birds, but I think it's groan-worthy.

I wasn't trying to replace this thread with games from that list, I just brought it up because of this:

I don't think there's a list out there on the internet that states all Download play games.
Atleast not here on the temp.

As for genre, I think turn-based artillery game sounds fine.

Pretty sure Download Play doesn't work off of a flashcart - I heard there's an issue with the encryption.

You're wrong.
I've used Acekard 2i and Supercard DSTwo for Download Play, and I'm pretty sure R4i Gold 3DS works as well.

The NSMB minigame where you try go get 3 or 5 stars before your opponent is a hell of a lot of fun and surprisingly deep.
