With nxdumptool you can dump your games or only files out of it, now you need open Mario Odissey with this app and look for the file PlayerActorHakoniwa.szs through the app “romfs browser” option
Sorry I am really dumb, I just can't process any of this. :(

I don't even know what this means, sorry. I am brand new to all of this and I will needs longer explanations about how this all works...
Ok, I'll explain briefly.

LayeredFS is a Sys-Module already integrated in Atmosphere. What it does is redirect the reading of the resources of a specific game to yours, something like modifying the ROM without needing to unpack or inject it directly to it or the same as when you load Textures externally in the emulators to improve or change its artistic style , although this does it with all the integral resources of the ROM. Previously it was used to load games over others, before there was the installation of backups, but it ended up being used more to modify aspects of the games, such as character models, add new things, etc.

LayeredFS will read the resources stored in "atmosphere / Content / [APPID] / RomFs / [ContentGame]" this is the default path, previously it was not in "content" but in "tittle", but that changed with atmosphere recently.

So knowing this, you just need to know how the game is structured. You can use the Switch ToolBox which allows you to internally explore the ROM (if you have the Switch keys and the title key). Everything that contains RomFs can be modified by LayeredFs if it follows the structuring pattern of folders and files.

Now you can compare different versions of a title from each Region. In the case of MHGU Ver. Japonesa y Americana. Verify that it contains the same structure. Check if the language pack is separate and check if it can be replaced by the American one. It may not be feasible because there are many modifications made when localizing the games, since the American version does not only contain one language, but several.

The only disadvantage of this is that if the resources are packed or encrypted within the game, you will have to modify these files directly with the changes you want so that the game does not crash.

I actually hate myself, I cannot understand ANY of this. Can you guys just tell me step by step how to get this mod manager to work instead of using a bunch of terms I am too dumb to know about to explain? Can you send pictures of the steps and explain it all without complicated terms that I don't know yet because I am new to this? Please help me because I paid for a second switch for this, I really need help to get my mods to work and be easy to be managed, I would really prefer this manager though. I am trying not to get stressed about this. Thanks for trying to help though... :(

Just copy the attached folder into your atmosphere folder :P

If you want to use SimpleModManager copy the attached mods folder into the root of your SD.

Though it could be more clear to you learn how mods works under atmosphere before trying SimpleModManager but that's up to you.

Now what? lol

Play the game?
I got the super speed one to work for a bit but I am not 100% sure what I did wrong or right and it was the version where you can't control it at all which I don't want. Now nothing is working... Can you try these mods yourself and send pictures of your file setup and file trees?

Hey there thanks for all the work you've put in, however no matter how hard I try and how many options I try I cannot get first person to work in game. Followed all steps and everything and it's still in 3rd person... Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like a mod problem not a simplemodmanager problem
