Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

Yes i format my sd with SDformatter.

First i use browserHax to enter homebrew for first time, after i install menuhax. I tried with both sysupdater and nothing

I do not have a 2DS unfortunately. I am assuming it is same process. Sometimes files get corrupted, when downloading or transferring. They are very small files, delete them and redownload them. See if that helps. I know it happened to me with emunand.

Try sysUpdater from first post. always worked for me personally better. As well as formatting my sd, when i was having issues. I formatted my sd putting back in system to create folders took it out and loaded the starter.zip to get 3ds folder and added sysUpdater to 3ds folder and updates to root of sd. LMK i have done about 8 this week all succesfully.

Doesnt work too. Tried for Hours now and still getting The failed to get cia Info error. Sucks

And going to 9.2? And you have the correct 2ds firmware?

Im trying to downgrade to 9.2, yes. Its an o3ds actually but the firmware is 100% correct.

I am on 10.3.28U trying to downgrade to 9.2. everytime I boot into the updater and hit y litterally nothing happens, I've attempted about 10+ times now.
I'm using browser as my entry point. can I install menuhax on 10.3? is there a better entry point I can use besides browser?

open ftbrony, then press b twice to exit
go to sysUpdater and press y and it should work Let me know

You are supposed to use menuhax, you will get nowhere with browserhax! And yes menuhax works! LMK

ok, I was told by a few people that menuhax was incompatible with 10.3 will install and give it a shot. thanks

Not true. Have used on 9 systems so far this week, all with success!

Good to know. I was fairly hesitant to try it just in case it bricked it. currently formatting and redownloading everything just to be double sure it wasnt a issue there as well

I must to say, please make sure you have the correct updates packages. I think most people that brick their system is user error. As long as you have correct update packages you should be good. I have done a few real late and mess up and it ends up being something dumb, lack of sleep didn't help! Lol

I must to say, please make sure you have the correct updates packages. I think most people that brick their system is user error. As long as you have correct update packages you should be good. I have done a few real late and mess up and it ends up being something dumb, lack of sleep didn't help! Lol

Yeah I double checked the MD5 and it matched up

Whats the best way to check if the downgrade was 100% successful? Is there any app that can be ran to check if everything installed correctly?
