i said it because i've been following this thread pretty closely ( have lots of spare time lmao ) and there was not a single person whose downgrade didn't succeed after formatting their 3DS ( talking about O3DS herE )

Didn't work...I formatted and reformatted my SD...

Try and get cfw on it now, I'm dying to know if cfw works on Julian's sysupdater.

Got Rxtools 3.0 Alpha CFW working. Emunand and FBI setup as well.

Yes. I get the same error every time. "Failed to find CIA file info" or whatever

oh sorry i though you were talking about softbricks thats how people fixes it ( at least you won't have to worry about that anymore )

I just downgraded and installed CFW!

Almost brand European N3DS XL 9.4 -> 10.3 -> 9.2 -> RX 9.2

Downgraded using @julian20 's sysUpdater - After maybe an hour or two of constantly trying different things.
Open ftBRONY first, Open CHMM2 first, Wifi ON/OFF, Cartridge in/out, using sysupdate as boot.3dsx etc.
I think in the end it was just a random boot up, open and close either CHMM2 or ftBRONY and then the updater.

For CFW i used @wurstpistole 's [Tutorial] and it went smoothly! (Except for errors on my end ofcourse. I forgot to remove SD card when system formatting while unlinking NANDs)

I loaded menuhax, started up ftBRONY, exit and then sysupdater and it just worked. Thank you again ^^

I created a folder called SysUpdate and placed the files there, should i leave it like that? Or just put them on the 3ds folder?

so far i managed to downgrade my O3DS no problem, my N3DS on the other hand is having a lot of trouble getting sysUpdater to work, it goes black screen on menuhax and gives me an error on ninjahax i've already formatted the sd card AND the system

i may have to try another entrypoint

So you were getting the same error but you restarted the app several times?

I just started the ftBRONY app and then did B > start to close it.
