Try and get cfw on it now, I'm dying to know if cfw works on Julian's sysupdater.

are you doing it on more than one 3ds and what cias did you use and sysUpdater

I'm using just one N3ds. I used CIA's from "That Iso site" and I'm using Julian's sysupdater.

I don't know why OP hasn't bothered to update his post. Makes it really confusing for people who have been out of the loop the past few days.

I got this to work yesterday by just constantly trying every time it failed. I updated again because cfw wouldn't work and retrying the downgrading was the only thing I could think to do.

Yes. I downgraded on an O3DS perfectly with it.

isn't there a way to backup the NAND before downgrading?

i mean, i backup the NAND and then:
>If i get Hard Brick, then i could hardmod my 3DS and use the backup
>If i downgrade successfully, then that's it and no need to hardmod

Also, what kind of things are the one that decrease the odds of sysUpdater crashing?

formatting your SD helps? or keeping it clean? what kind of thing can i do to avoid crashing?
