I would like to know if there are any spaecialists out there that would be willing to translate this stunning game. Sigma Harmoins is only being released in Japan as far as I can see from every website I've read about it on. This sgame is made buy the world renowned (sorry for any bad spelling) and looks like it could be one of the games of the year in Japan.

This is a description taken from a website that is currently seeling the japanese version of the game :
"The Kurokami family has been protecting the huge grandfather's clock that prevents demons called Ouma from taking over the human world.

For centuries, this family has been doing their job in ascertaining that the human world stays untouched, however, someone has rewritten the past and humans are wiped out, completely replaced by Ouma.

It is up to Kurokami Sigma to right the wrongs that has been happening in history. Music, or tones are key weapons in the game as the Kurokami family controls sounds during battles.

Aside from battles, Sigma has to wrack his brains to solve the puzzles that leads to clues. However, the more mysteries he solves, the more people are killed, can he find the culprit before things become irreversible?"

If you would also like to see a trailer then you can find one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWr_V9qQeyY

If I have sparked your interest in this game then I would really appreciate to here what you think and whether you or someone you know would like to translate this game.

Thank you in advance for the time you spent reading this.

This game looks awesome, I played it a bit and it's great.. But hard to understand without knowing Japanese..

I can't translate, because I can't read Japanese, but I can do some graphics maybe, if someone picks up this as a project..

i could also help with graphics editing ( just give me tools and i should be able to do something )
i know also a bit japanese (a bit*)

i want this in english T________________________________________________________T

yeah well I've only just started to learn japanese so I'm a real noob at it.

I'm also learning how to mod some graphics and get a flawless finish but I don't have the nak for it yet but I'm picking it up quite quick lol

I posted this thread because I wouldn't dare pour my noobieness into trying to translate this amazing looking game, so any pro's would be like a god send haha

i speak fluent japanese and english. i work for a translation company in japan but ive done rom translations for a long time
problem is that i havent been in the scene for a while so i dont know where to start off.

I dont think anyone cares to translate this game, as an official english version will come out soon like next year. All efforts would be useless.

Well.. I think it'll come too, but there isn't an official announcement or something, that confirms a Western release..
When you look at this game's graphics, you'll figure out that it would take a long time to translate, because of the vertical textboxes system..
Thats why maybe someone here could just make a simple translation with only card descriptions etc etc, because I don't think we'll see this game in Q1 or Q2 2009..

Like.. TWEWY came out 3/4 year after the Japanese release.. And that isn't so hard to translate as this game is..

I wish I could help to translate this wonderful game, but I don't have any knowledge of written Japanese, only some phrases from anime. However, I wish the translators luck and I look forward to any progress that might be made.

^hmmm hey bunny are u from jus boards on gfaqs?
on topic : this game is great im playing it it b cool if someone translated it =p

I thought I was going to be able to help but there is one big data.cpk file after extracting.
Don't know about such an extention or if it is some type of compression
and I tried extracting that similarly to the way as that one big data file in soma bringer, but it didn't work...
probably some compression I still didn't learn about

there is..? lemme check

($00)CpkHeader($00)UpdateDateTime($00)FileSize($00)ContentOffset($00)ContentSize($00)TocOffset($00)TocSize($00)EtocOffset($00)EtocSize($00)ItocOffset($00)ItocSize($00)EnabledPackedSize($00)EnabledDataSize($00)TotalDataSize($00)Tocs($00)Files($00)TotalFiles($00)Directories($00)Updates($00)Version($00)Revision($00)Align($00)Sorted($00)Tvers($00)Comment($00)CPKMC1.40.00, DLL1.40.00
this ..??

well.. it has cpk written all over the beginning so I guess some new type of "cpk" compression???

Nothing works so far

maybe some square enix's new...

and just thinking...
I thought most of this game's story were graphics. So if the data.cpk contains any graphics, then it might be possible, but until now, if data.cpk is not a file like the data file in soma bringer, there is no way but to figure out a new way

cpk may stand for Compressed PacKage or something like that so it may not be a compression of their own.I'll look more into it once I have some spare time.
