So, what's the deal right now?

A few questions:

Is boot9 publicly dumped, what is with the SafeSigHax installer, and anything else I missed

In short, not yet. Can't get much further without it either. You'll know when it happens though because this thread will suddenly grow to over a hundred pages.

Sighax incoming???

Due to upcoming changes in this guide (which should be ready in a little less than a day),
it is recommended that you delay starting any new installations until the new version is released.

or they fixed otpless......but I hope it's sighax someone has been patiently waiting for their console to get unbricked (....no....not the guy from the 2dsaver thread :rofl2:)

I feel like the whole thing with A9LH is still gonna be prevalent for a while, with sighax just being the newer version.

In other words, not much of a reason to replace it.

Fair enough. But sig patching the firmware? Hopefully this could lead to the downfall of Luma (I love the CFW) and the rise of a new one. Kind of like what A9LH did for Luma
How would this lead to the downfall of Luma?
Sighax is just an arm9 exploit like any other. It just happens to run at boot without execution of garbage data.
