[borrows it again]

If "clean" was a stat, shower would increase your stat, while golden shower would decrease it (maybe not as fast as AncientBoi's beloved bronze shower, but still)
Gold is antibacterial tho

I see. But I remember of old (like medieval-kind of old) baby toys that were partially made of silvers, that they could chew when their teeth were growing. They were made of silver because of that property to render bacterias unable to reproduce on it.
Many metals have bactericidal activity

I realised something during class today. These machine are often called "mining farm". "Mining" "Farm". Two of the three most common jobs in the New World (old name of America) (the third one was woodcutting)
Idk what year you are referencing, but I don't think mining was ever in top 3 by a state or country basis

For some counties sure

Here is a snapshot from one state

Occupation Number Percent
Farmers 87,025 45.20
Laborers 63,481 32.94
Tradesmen 27,263 14.15
Professional workers 7,436 3.85
Merchants 3,479 1.80
White-collar workers 1,913 .99
Manufacturers 1,308 .70
Planters 121 .06
All Others 608 .31
Total 192,634 100.00

Only 550 miners if you scroll to the full list (about 0.3%)

To put that in perspective, shoemaker was like 2x that number

Well, I just remember seeing that in historic tv show about life in the north of Canada back in late 1800's (back in Canada's Dominion)
During spring and summer, the main income sources were from farming (agriculture and breeding), while during winters, it was mostly from woodcutting. Mining was also a "quick cashgrab" for some families, where the wages were higher (but was also more risky).

You know what I would like to see? A movie adaptation of a novel or book series with everything that's not explicitly described in the book removed. Anything without a detailed description? A blur.

This is an intervention, we've all come here today to tell you we think you need a shower.
I have a shower, how else would you people be standing in it

Oh, you mean I should use the shower? Outrageous  How long will society oppress me with its unattainable standards :hateit:
