They have NES, GB/C, and GBA games all available on the 3DS platform... there's no excuse anymore. I want MOTHER, MOTHER 2, and MOTHER 3 on Virtual Console! Besides those...

* Mega Man series (GB/NES)
* Old Pokemon games (RBYGSC) BUUUTTT... with ONLINE PLAY. Now wouldn't that be sexy? A guy can dream.
* Original Dragon Quest Monsters/Rocket Slime games on GBA

i want Nintendo to actually put some effort into providing a decent upscale for titles that are straight ports on the VC. nothing crazy, but something to improve the image quality like some of the fancier engines on SNES emus and the like. they seem to be lazy or deliberately won't change the rendering engines for older titles for whatever reason. that is unless it's going to a full on remake, making it all or nothing for image quality.

this is an issue with the increased resolution of the 3DS screen IMO.

I said this before, but a great strategy for them would be to just release all their games at once and promote a few select games a week with a discount. Casuals will be drawn to the promoted discount games and hardcores will seek out the games they crave in the catalog. Everybody wins.
