When i went on the eshop today it said i needed to update to 6.0.

does this upate break reinx or rcm mode?

will my nsp installed games not function?

Which method use to update?
It doesn't make sense,it's a hardware flaw that gets us into RCM,i think it was mentioned that it can't be patcpat out with software before the device boots,unless they physically get the device and do some black magic to it

You can ALWAYS enter RCM, that can't be changed with a software patch

iPatches is the phrase I was looking for.To my knowledge,this can't be updated with OTA firmware. Therefore you should be able to enter RCM

Entering RCM and not being able to launch payloads are two different things. I'd start by checking the cable itself

Chances are youll have to wait until Rei/whatever updates to support the new update. Hekate is updated the most frequently so id say to just keep an eye out, it shouldnt be too long of a wait.

SXOS is meant to work with 6.0.0 apparently.
Try that, you don't need to pay for it to test if it will boot.
