Hacking Should I update the HC?

Here's the thing, whenever I go onto the Hombrew Channel, I get this message asking me to update to this newer version. But the thing is that is says SCAM WARNING! in big, capitalized letters in the little box thing underneath it.

Is it safe to update it?

It happens have you ever heard of Homebrewware......well probably not. you should probably read on as the actual warning is under those words.
