IDK pawn shop has a bunch of them and has the old one with the O.L.E.D screen.
Should I pick it up at all. I don't really like jrps that much. Maybe Y's interest me a bit. From the top games mostly jrpg's. I like shoot' em ups, adventure, driving and if it's actually good on a handheld these days then fps.
I want to hack it of course. The old one is the one to get i seen it at the pawn shop for $150 I think plus they offer a warranty.
My psp i bought it for monster hunter to play with my buddy. it was cellecting dust many years later, i thought i sold it found it, hacked it and love it now.

Yeah go for the old OLED PS Vita, get one with 3G and below 3.60 fw.
I'm not a fan of jrpgs but I can play PSP games and emulate many console fine, the PS Vita is a beauty

The dual analog sticks on the vita make fps's much better. I'm playing black ops, and of course adrenaline for my Psp games. I have a psp2000 and upgraded just about a month ago. It's very nice.

I got mine for $130. It came with a case for the console and another case for games, an original charger, trigger grip thing, and a 16gb vita card. It had a few dents (teeth marks) they are tiny. I don't feel bad.

I got mine for ~$120 with everything you get if you buy new screen protector and 8gb memory.
I think op should search a bit more before buying that one, except if it's below market price in his place.

I live in canada guys. everything is expensive. Ill prob get it used at eb,retro store or pawn shop. How will I know if it has 3g or the firmware. Im not going to hack it right away. Going to wait till the updates are dead. Since im happy with my psp for emulation for now. I bet on the vita it's updated and better thou.

There is this guy who posted Amazon link for new jp Vita 1000, it's guaranteed below 3.60 for 250. You can consider that i think.

If portability isn't important, get a PSTV. Guaranteed under 3.6 if NA region (assuming it's unused, of course), way cheaper, and just as hackable. Can also buy the SD2Vita for a less expensive memory card.

Get it for homebrew, games aren’t great and you can use the dual analogs on some PSP games with a plug-in which is really nice

If portability isn't important he better off with used ps3 for that price ($150 i mean, then again i don't know market price there), unless there is vita games he want to play imo.

@OP if 150 is market price there for used then go for it i guess. I suggest you hack it right away and use sd2vita rather than propietary mmc, or buy small(4gb) card with sd2vita. The vita mmc is expensive and the 64gb one is crap i heard.
