My switch is short circuited and really the only thing “valuable” in their for me is my save data since some of them can’t be backed up to the cloud is it possible to take off the internal memory and solder it to a new motherboard?

You should find out what is causing the short circuit, if it is an component you can try replacing it.

I would but i sadly dont have the equipment to do so nor the knowledge im trying to find a place to see if they can fix it i only really know how to solder.

OP might need a repair. But not sure how much it is over the border.

pretty much what happened is I installed a new cartridge reader and it worked perfectly but my power button wasn’t working so i went to check if i accidentally disconnected it or anything else and i used metal tweezers and shorted the console.
