I have a SC DSOne and the EOS shell only really uses the lower screen. Is there an alternative launcher/shell that show the selected rom's game cover in the top screen? I'm thinking it can get the cover from a .png file with the same name as the rom file.

IIRC, the Supercard DSOne could use YSMenu...though information on that is probably worse than sparse seeing as DSOne users never really had to swap to an alternative firmware in the first place, but supposing that ysmenu does work on the Supercard DSOne, then you should be able to set up DSCovered just fine.
