So it was an ordinary day, I wanted to play games on my DS and stuff...

I turn on my DS, the EDGE wasn't read. (happens occasionally, but yeah.)
I remove my EDGE, put it back, turn my DS on, EDGE didn't read again.

I tried the third time, it was read BUT

a lot of random folders started appearing on my menu, my skin was set back to default, brightness was set to 2 (instead of 0), cheats were disabled, and some of my games disappeared.

I was wondering if I could set it back to normal, so I turn off my DS, remove and put back the EDGE, turned my DS on and everything was still the same. (well, kinda. the folders with characters I COULDN'T READ and I couldn't open them [opening them causes me to go back to main menu or sometimes freeze] my games still weren't there)

So what I did next what remove my SD card and check if I could work out the problem on my computer.
I put the USB in, and it reads for a second, and suddenly dies. I checked other USBs, no problem of the sort, only for the memory card. (I even tried different memory cards)

Any way to fix this? Or at least be able to access my memory card so I can get back my stuff.

This has never happened to me, and I've had the very same EDGE for like 3 or 4 years. (not so sure, but I've definitely had it for more than 2 years without any problems)

HELP PLEASE.

You can try to run a scan disk for the card to check for ba dsectors, there are also differnet programs designed to try and recover files from sd cards, Just do a google search and you should be able to find some options. Good Luck

What program do you recommend that I use? I tried DDR Memory Card Recoverer but I can't use it properly without paying, so anything else? I'm leaving right now so I don't have time to google and stuff, so help is appreciated. Oh, and hopefully, it can recover deleted files too please.
