Hacking Semi bricked Wii

I was given a Wii to update, it was already softmodded and i wanted to install cios rev 17 on it. When I went into Wad Manager, the controller would not connect. I then decided that I should install Priloader on it, just in case. I went to install preloader and it came up with the error that it was not able to install because of the Trucha bug. I then used Trucha Bug restorer (1st downgraded IOS15, then install IOS36menu, then restored IOS15). I then ran Priloader and it installed. However, now when I reboot it goes right to Priloader and will not go into the system menu. I can still access homebrew chanell thru Priloader, but when I go into WAD manager, but contoller won't work. Any ideas????

If you installed priiloader v2, uninstall it and try the new v3b
Priiloader v .3b

As for wadmanager, be sure the wiimote is synced with the two red buttons and not 1 & 2. Other than that, try another version of wadmanager.

Also, why are you in wadmanager when installing cios38-r17? Use the cios installer, online or wad install. Wadmanager is not required.
