I would like a tut also, pretty noobish, but yeah.
EDIT: Never mind, I get it. You must do the following:

1: open notepad and write the following:
For PAL Wii:Â Â make-multiv2.exe output.gcm PAL 1.gcm 2.gcm 3.gcm
For USA Wii:Â Â make-multiv2.exe output.gcm USA 1.gcm 2.gcm 3.gcm
For JAP Wii:Â Â make-multiv2.exe output.gcm JAP 1.gcm 2.gcm 3.gcm

2: Now change the 1,2 and 3.gcm to the names of the images. you can add more images aswell.

3: Save the file as 'make.bat', in the folder were 'make-multiv2' is aswell.

4: Launch 'make-multiv2'.

5. Done!

ok, im new to making this, but i follwed these steps, and where do i put the image of teh games at?? i got 3 images, and was wondering whre do i place them

anyoene have the thing to compress the games?

i belvie i put the notepad first, then the 3 game images??? how will the notepad read the game image?

Also can anyone help me or locate me to the SNES, how to make them!

Put everything in the same folder - isos, make-multiv3.exe, GCMUtility, and newly created .bat file.

Download the latest multidisc maker v3, not v2 - its included in the Wiikey setup disc 1.2.

Shrink each iso with GCMUtility v0.5 before making the multidisc (Google search it).

I'm assuming you have a USA modded Wii. So, for example, if you've got the isos Mario Kart DD.iso, Zelda WW.iso, and Pikmin 2.iso, shrink them with GCMUtility first.

Edit:
Rename the isos so that they contain no spaces, otherwise when running the program in DOS prompt, it will give an error of file not found.

It doesn't matter if the isos are mixed - PAL, USA, JAP, GCOS will let you output whichever region.

In notepad, type:
make-multiv3 multi.gcm mkartdd.iso zeldaww.iso pikmin2.iso

Save it as multi.bat in the same folder as all the files.
Double click the newly created multi.bat file, and it should create your multi.gcm file. You'll know when its finished when the DOS window is gone and your system is doing nothing.

Burn the multi.gcm onto a DVD-R/+RW with something like IMGburn, and play on the Wii.

It allows you to extract your GC images back out of a "make-multi created GCOS disc."
I'm having trouble with it (could be a bug in my system), but it seems to be working fine for others.

EDIT: Turns out it has problems on my Win2K machine, but runs ok on XP.

Hmm, I just gave the extractor a try, and got the same thing as you sdoc96. Lines and lines of gibberish and pc speaker beeping. I had to end the task in task manager to get it to settle down. This is on Vista. So .. what do Vista and Win2k have the XP doesn't?

Is there any interest in having a compatibility chart on the Wiki for Gamecube game (shrunk or not, multi-game or not, etc)? I missed that entire era, so they're providing me with plenty of fun. I have found a couple that didn't want to work in certain modes, but I would definitely need help in testing out all the right combinations...

Hi !

I'm tried to make a multiboot disc, the games runs fine, but the menu is flashing
(try to run in PAL 60Hz mode)
maybe its an openwii bug..
Any idea ?

New V4 version released!!
http://psx-scene.com/forums/gamecube-wii-h...n-released.html
Release notes
** FINAL v4 Release **
- DVD9 support added
- Gamecube Supported (Softmod and XenoGC)
- Straight to disc listing, no waiting
- Auto menu video mode setting
- If a game requires audio, it will ask to be setup (bit of a problem on GC)
- Game listing re-coded
- Improved the .iso generation speed ALOT

*DVD9 authentication is dependent on GOOD media and the modchip, not GCOS at all.. It simply parses them once they can be read.
*Do not use Shrunk Audio streaming games (they may crash!)
*Memcards may have an issue.. i.e. save a game from a dvd9 disc and then it won't work on the game if played by itself.. (?)

I read (in the dev thread) that there is also in game reset:
Oh as for ingame reset, just pop the disc out and then put it back in. You will shortly be at the GCOS menu.

I created a multi game disc but when I loaded it, it went straight to the GCos menu with the three games menu, but nothing happened from there. No buttons worked or anything. Any ideas?
