There is STILL no 32x emulator for the Wii.
GenPlus GX does up to Sega CD emulation, they already stated that 32x would be quite hard to achieve, and so far there is none.

we can still dream my friend...;)
I highly doubt it.
We are way past the Nintendo Wii: Days of Homebrew Glory.
Most of the developers and coders are long absent, only hope would be if the Wii U gets hacked and people start coding emulators for it.
Only then...

Very unlikely to happen, here is what ekeeke most recently says in the google code for genplusgx (his project) in regard to 32X http://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/issues/detail?id=65 :

what you do not understand is that 32x emulation on Wii would require heavily optimized code for PowerPC, existing genesis/32x emulators portable code is not fast enough for Wii limited CPU, so simply porting picodrive to the Wii wouldn't be sufficient enough and a lot of things would need to be rewritten. That is what Wii64 and WiiSX did, they rewrote specific code to be optimized for the Wii hardware to be able to run games at a decent speed. And like i said, that is not something I am capable or willing to do. Hope that clear things up, people seem to have trouble understanding this.

So yes, while it would be possible if someone worked on it from the ground up, the fact of the matter is, no one is working on it from the ground up and its beyond Ekeeke's capabilities to do so. So I suppose if someone knows what they're doing they could take the task on themselves, but the creator and upkeeper of GenplusGX isn't going to be the one to do so.

I'm suprised the wii can't run sega 32x but something like the original xbox can.
It's not that it can't, simply no one has given proper time to code a 32x Emulator from the groundup to make it work properly on the Wii.
It's not a matter of copy-paste another emulator's source code.

If anybody does manage to get a 32x emulator working on the Wii, or even if they begin working on one, they're welcome to open another thread.
Until such a time, it seems best to put this back to bed.
