Hacking Second hand DSI, DSIware account??

Hi guys, hope someone can advise me here. I bought a second hand dsi for my son but it is linked to the previous owners account. Is the any way of setting up a new dsiware account for my son to buy from the shop? i know i can delete the previous owners account through the dsi shop, but really dont know how to set up another...........Thank-you

Once the old account is removed, I think you'll be prompted to make a new one once you connect to the shop anyway.

I thought that maybe is what happens. I can access what the previous owner has already downloaded (girly games which really aren't suitable for my son lol), but i daren't delete the account just in case i cant set another one up.

Problem solved...........It was safe just to delete the old account, and set up a new dsiware shopping account

Ironically, you'd never be able to set another one up until the first was deleted
