am i right in thinking as long as my wii is over version 4.0 SDHC cards up to 32gb will work? im thinking of importing my rock band 2 list to rock band 3 and also getting loads of dlc at the same time and my 2gb SD card is full!

or am i missing a better way to go about doing this?

also, whats the score with using wii shopping points with softmodded wii's? is it gonna be ok? does it try and update my wii (i have priiloader settings set to stop updates)

just a bit concerned as iv not had much to do with nintendo online since modding my console!

AFAIK, you only need an sd card for:
Softmodding
Exploits
Bootmii
NAND Emulation
NAND Backup
NAND Restore
WAD Installations
Theme Installations

SDHC should be fine for everything else though on a 4.0+ wii.

youve confused me by listing things i need an SD card for when i assumed i could use either! i could run cfg loader + rock band 3 wbfs + rock band dlc all from the same SDHC card couldnt i?

also, are there compatability issues with some SDHC cards?

i woul assume any sdhc card would work but it doesnt hurt to look around on google for some compatibility charts just incase, if your going to drop 30 pounds or whatever on it i would want to make sure it works on my wii

I don't think you can use the same card to load the game from and store the dlc on. Having the loader itself + loading the game OR dlc on the card should be possible.

Also, it depends on the game and its IOS if you can use sdhc cards ingame or not. SSBB is an example where sdhc cards are NOT supported, don't know about Rock Band.

Also, everything on wii is picky when it comes to which sdhc cards it supports and which not!

WAD Installations
Theme Installations
With SDHC.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
