Here is finally a proper release:
https://github.com/Maschell/SDCafiine/releases/tag/1.4

I updated the Readme on github and the first post of this thread, please read it!

Changelog:
  • Added built in mocha support. It's not loader needed to load mocha manually before hand
  • Added libfat support, this leads to faster loading times and add support for USB devices (FAT32)
  • several internal improvements

Oh nice, i will test this newer version in a bit now. Does this work without the use of the gamepad? Or it needs to be on for it to work on games installed on usb?

It works without the gamepad so long as you have only one modpack for any given game. If you have multiple modpacks for one game (whether they be on the SD card or a USB drive, or one on each), then you will need the gamepad to select one.

The update is really good! The only complaint I have is that now it takes a bit longer to load, which is speacially noticeable in Smash Bros. Besides, even though you can access any system app from the home menu (friend list, Miiverse, Internet Browser, etc) using SDCafiine now, you can only open one or two system apps when running SDCafiine. If you close any system app and try to load another, the console will freeze.

I know this is kinda of a broad question but. I have successfully used this with the usb drive. At least 5 people trying to load mods the same way as i am but from SD cards are all failing. (showing intro movie modified but none of the in game changes)

Just wondering if there's something in missing. (or if they just aren't making the folders properly)

^maybe they have a wrong title id?
what game is it for
if its something other than MK8 nvm

Hi! I'm trying to load mods for Smash 4, and I can't get it to work. I think my SD Card set up is right, but it's still not working. It just loads normally, without mods. I'm going into HBL and just loading SDCafiine once- is there anything else I need to do? (I have CBHC.) Help would be appreciated :)

Is there any reason neither 1.4 nor 1.5 wouldn't load mods on Sm4sh using a Seagate external USB hard drive formatted to FAT32? A standard 16GB USB flash drive works on both 1.4 and 1.5, but my 1TB external USB hard drive doesn't work. It's like SDCafiine doesn't detect it. I use the external hard drive fine for vWii things like Wiiflow, but it's not being detected in this instance.

Would this work with Splatoon? If so, how would I setup the SD card?
I'm trying to replace the music in Splatoon and with Cafiine out of the picture, this is my last hope of doing so.

Hey all I am just wondering if anyone could help me out I have just started Xenoblade X and I have found out the music cannot be disabled so I found I can replace the music so I was hoping I could replace (or even delete) all the music tracks from the game with SDCafiine. I am new to the WiiU modding scene but I think I understand it for the most part and was hoping someone could help me out.

Currently I think I am suppose to set it up like:
root:/sdcafiine/00050000101c4c00/[MODPACK]/content/

Xenoblade Chronicles EU

But I am unsure what a modpack is (unless its just a naming thing for our own organisation) and I am unsure how to see the files installed on the WiiU for the game and to see the file structure that I need to replace? is there a sort of content browser or something or is there another way to just delete all the music?

Thank you all.

I'm having a bit of trouble getting my BOTW mods to load. Whenever I start up SDcafiine it hangs on a black screen and won't go back to the main menu.

Is there any way for this version of SDCafiine to log the files loaded via the SD Card to your computer via network connection? SDCafiine 1.0 has this feature but I'm not sure if 1.4 still keeps it.

@Maschell Is there any hope of getting a version of this that works with (or is combined with) tcpgecko? The BotW modding scene is rapidly expanding and I'm sure many of those using BotW mods would love the ability to use gecko codes and mods at the same time. I know I would, because weapon durability sucks.

@Maschell I'm having one problem with v1.4, it successfully load my mod for Xenoblade Chronicles X but it freeze the game when I press HOME.

Edit: tried 1.3 and it works correctly, pressing HOME doesn't freeze the game.
