so here is my question...
can i just use an SD card to store wii u, wii, gamecube and emu roms ?.
and by sd card i mean the front SD card

guess i need another usb flash drive or another SD card with an usb reader, since the ssd's and hdd are waaay more expensive here
USB flash drives/SD readers are not recommended for Wii U because the Wii U writes to USB storage a lot for some reason and will wear it out.
excuse me but, is an 3.5 5900rpm HDD will be decent for wii u games ?
You probably meant 5400, but sure, as long as it's externally powered or you use an Y-cable.

should be good. the only thing that really matters is if it's powered or unpowered. if it's unpowered, use a y cable.
no its unpowered, a y cable ? u mean this one in the picture ? its a cheap one

3.5" drives need external power, they should always come with a power supply. Are you talking about a bare internal HDD that you don't have an enclosure for? You can buy an enclosure, and it should come with a power supply.

that's what I think based on the image he uploaded, an internal hdd without an enclosure.

Yea, that one (in case your HDD is "raw"). Just keep in mind that two USB ports of the Wii U might still not be enough, so you'll need to connect the power only end of the Y cable to a powerfull USB wall charger in case of rare, random errors.
