I think so, but I don't use wii flow. I use usb loader gx, which can't. as for the gamepad, I think you need a forwarder that supports it. it will ask if you want to use the gamepad when you click on the app.

I already do that with Nintendont works great I don’t need to convert each GC title individually I just copy the games to the SD and run Nintendont as a Wii U forwarder, also I too use USB Loader GX which sadly doesn’t run Wii titles off the SD card, that’s why I asked, I REALLY hope USB Loader GX to get an update to run Wii titles off an SD card, we need it now more than ever.

No, you can use loadiine for wiiu, wiiflow for wii, nintendont for cube, then I don't think emus need a usb drive.
I was gonna ask this question and came across this comment, I suppose you can’t us Loadiine to run Wii games off the SD card (after converting them to WiiU VC) to use with the gamepad? Is there any way to play Wii titles using the WiiU gamepad without having to install each game individually via WUP Installer?

you might be able to with wii games. I'm not sure. I think they only use the product code, which is how loadiine identifies that there's a game in that folder. wiiu uses product code followed by iirc the first two of the company code. if it needs a company code, just put 01, which I think is Nintendo. I'm not sure if it will use the product code of rhythm heaven or not. you can check in the meta.xml. that's where the company and product codes as well as game name or what's displayed on the home menu are located.
