Hey i just bought a 64gb Lexar Platinum II SDXC card and Homebrew wont read it. Is it because homebrew cant read 64 gb or is it just the sd card???
Please Help!!!!

Try formatting the SDXC card to FAT32, most SDXC cards come formatted in exFAT, which your home-brew applications can't interpret.

It still might not work. Officially Wii/WiiU only support SD up to 2GB and SDHC up to 32GB.

I'm not saying it for sure won't work, just manage your expectations.

This guy apparently needs his hand held. Use a third party client to change the format to fat32. If something posted here doesn't work, search around, EaseUS is definitely a good place to start.

Stop now. Research first.
Is there any support for SDXC in:
- exploits
- bootmii installer
- HBC
- preloader
- postloader
- cios installer
- usb loader

I don't think so.

Learn:
SDXC cards can be tricked by readers as being nothing more than an SDHC card with proper formatting
Disk partition formatters can allow for an SDXC card to be read as fat32
I have a 64GB SDXC card and can confirm that with proper formatting, homebrew, exploits, legit saves, legit wiiware, Rock Band DLC, and all the like can be read from my card because the Wii believes it to be an SDHC card. There was a thread about this a while ago.

OP never mention reader in his setup.

Please do not mix filesystem with communication protocol.

I will be very happy to read full/proper/technical description about that.

Look around man, like I said there was an entire thread (might have been two if I recall correctly) about this shit. OP was asking how to get it done, many people have mentioned looking for easeUS or the like (easeUS worked for me), it can get done. you should try it out if you don't believe it. Though I thought this was common knowledge by this point.
