Homebrew Screenshot ap for DS

I tried looking for it but i did not manage to find any.

Is anyone aware if there is a DS application that would allow me to take in game screenshots? A tried a couple of emulators but the results were to "glitchy".

Nonexistent application. Impossible for the DS to handle a game and an app like that at the same time.

Right, you can't run two apps on the DS at the same time simply due to the way the DS works. Theoretically this feature could be added into a game as a patch feature, but it would have to be done by each individual flash cart maker, as it would be a cart-specific thing. Even then, you'd only be able to do a single screen capture of the main screen (which is up to the developer to decide which one it is).

what about action replay codes?

what would action replay codes have anything to do with it?

there needs to be an aplication running at the same time of the game or an extension of sorts that would take a pic and save it to the slot-1
the DS however just doesnt have enough power to handle that at the same time
