Hacking Screen protector question (not which one to buy)

I'm getting a CycloDS from DealWoot and when I added it to the cart, it also added a free screen protector. This is the one (except this one is separate and $5):

A few questions:

1- it says it's free ($0.00) on checkout, but is it really?
2- should I take the deal?
3- is it a good one or at least one that does the job?
4- anything else I didn't mention, but should know?

I don't use screen protectors, but might take the deal if it's a good idea and since it's free. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Also, I realize Hori is the best, but I didn't want one anyways. Will I regret using this one if I put it on? And if I don't like it, are they easy to remove?

Yes, it's free. I don't know the quality of it but if it's free you might as well go for it.

Take the deal, it's free... if it looks cheap then just toss it.
