or titles folder. depends on which version luma you are using. code-section for 6.6 release and below. titles for nightly.
nightly: /titles/titleid name folder/code.ips

Yes romfs support was added. RomFSes go to /luma/titles/<titleid>/romfs.

Is the romfs on the end of the file address a folder or the file?

It has to be "romfs.romfs."

Yes, and in the second mentioned file structure, but it's recommended to use SaltySD. There's an IPS patch for that, or you can combine it with other IPS patches.

the source is out there. just not a compiled excutable.
