Hacking Saving/Loading issues on Castlevania.(M3 REAL)

Hi, I hate to ask this redundant question but for some reason when I save in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow it all appears fine I click yes and it appears to of saved 100%.I then turn off the DS and load up the game again and when I select the file to load...there is nothing there it's as if the game thinks I'm playing for the first time.

Some of my other games I play save/load fine,

1.Super Robot Taisen 1+ 2
2.Super Mario(all of them)
3.Advance Wars 1+ 2
4.Fire Emblem(It appears the same thing happens as well)

The list can go on....Is there something I'm missing?

If you recently updated to firmware 3.3 or 3.4 saves are now .sav therefore you would probably need to convert the old .0 saves then replace it with the .sav files. Please be sure to back up all your saves first.
